All our dogs come in as strays via the dog warden service, Most dogs have been abandoned and its hard to understand why.

More rehoming infomation is at the bottom of the page, with details of dogs who will be ready for adoption soon and who are currently being assessed.

Baz - Staffordshire. Approximately a 4 year old male. - Castrated.

Baz is a very sad case, he was found tied up in an alley next to his 2 posh beds and a bag of his food.  Baz is fine with other dogs and he is very well behaved, and knows many commands such as sit, wait and paw etc. Baz does not pull on the lead and he is very good when off the lead as he comes back quickly when called. Baz is house trained and well mannered. He is quiet boy who loves people and having a bum scratch. Baz is very good with his food and treats and would also be ok to be rehomed with children dependent on age. A really great boy who is looking for his new forever home!  Baz just loves a cuddle and will sit for hours next to you he is an extremely affectionate and he is an all-round really lovely boy.

Dilly - Staffordshire, Male Approx 2 -3 years old. Castrated.

Dilly is a wonderful little boy. He was found tied up in a field! He is a very well behaved young man and would love an active family home. He is good on the lead and he is getting better when off (With a little help from something tasty!) He is good with his food and treats and knows many basic commands such as sit, wait and here. He is not a strong boy and he is very easy to manage. He gets on fine with other dogs, and would be happy to share his home with another, and he would also be fine to leave at home for periods of time during the day. Dilly could be rehomed with children dependent on age as he has a wonderful calm and gentle nature. Dilly loves people and he is a wonderfully behaved boy with so much love to give! We hope that he finds his new forever home soon!

Dilly has just under gone an operation to repair his ear after his neglectful previous owner failed to have an ear infection treated. He is recovering well and he will need no further treatment on the ear other than an occasional ear clean like any dog.

Sparky - Spaniel. Approximately 6 year old male.

Sparky is a lovely quiet boy, who enjoys going for his walks and pottering around the garden. He is fine with other dogs and enjoys their company he would be best suited to live with a calm female. Sparky does pull on the lead a little to begin with as he wants to get going! He needs an adult home, and preferably a one on one home with someone who will be patient and understanding as sparky needs time to trust and he is not a huge fan of being manhandled i.e. by Vets and groomers. But he is really coming on leaps and bounds he just needs a little more confidence and some good handling. He is currently un-going constant rehabilitation for his issues and he is defiantly getting better with being groomed. Sparky does love a fuss and a scratch and he enjoys being with you, he is waggy tailed and enjoys playing fetch. Sparky is house trained, and he travels very well in the car. He has received all basic training and knows many commands. He is such a sweet boy who deserves a nice new active forever home.

Lucy - Yorkshire Terrier, Approx 16 years old. Neutered. Rehomed!

Lucy is a lovely quiet little girl, who came in as her owner went into a home and could not take her. Lucy is getting on in years but she is still fit and healthy and she is on no medication. Lucy enjoys her little walks and wandering around the garden. She enjoys the company of other dogs and would really like a nice quiet retirement home. Lucy is a very good little girl who enjoys being brushed and has been regually groomed.

There will be an adoption fee.  We ask for an adoption fee in order to continue the work for homeless and abused animals.  We are not a profit making charity.  Most of the animals that come into our care need medical attention and nearly all require castration.  This is generally carried out before the animal goes to its new home.  If for any reason this is not done it is up to the adopter to do so. If there is a problem with the adoption fee – please speak to us.  Adoption fees are non refundable in the event of a dog being returned.

  • We currently have more dogs than shown looking for new homes and are currently undergoing thier assessments.
